WordMemorizer: A Free English Vocabulary Learning Tool
WordMemorizer is a free Android application developed by HandySystems that helps users learn English vocabulary. To begin, users must select the category of words they want to study. The app offers three learning options: selecting the correct translation from a list of options, dictating the translation of a word, or a complex option that includes selecting the Russian translation, then the English translation, and finally writing the English translation.
In the settings, users can choose to display English or Russian words, show or hide transcriptions, enable automatic English pronunciation after each guess, adjust the number of answer options, change the background color, and choose between American or British English pronunciation.
Users can view all the words in a selected category, listen to the English pronunciation, and add, delete, or edit words. The app also keeps track of errors and provides statistics on correct and incorrect answers for each category. The dictionary allows users to search for English or Russian words, and they can choose to search by the beginning of a word or any part of a word.
WordMemorizer allows users to upload vocabulary from Excel or text files, and the dictionary can be exported to Excel or text files. The app also allows users to share files with others via email or messaging apps.
